Can acans go under a marineland double bright led. It's in a 40 breeder it's a 24"-36" light

Directly under them, from my experience I'm going to say no. My acan thrive in near shade, flow and spot feeding

acans like low lighting. not dark... medium to low flow.

I could be wrong but I don't think the marineland double bright led is that strong, I have kept acans for years under 20k 250w radium bulbs with no problem. Put them where you like them, feed them and try not to move them around a lot. They will adjust to the light and be fine

I used pellets alot because they had some weight to them. Watch the shrimps!
