Fish in back of RSM

My brand new wrasse managed to jump over the overflow and swim through the grate of my Red Sea Max 34G. He's been back there for two days. I've turned off the pumps and even started running them backwards and removed the overflow so hopefully he can swim out. Anybody have any better ideas? I can't really get a net back there.

I'm a little confused. Did you say you removed the overflow? Where exactly is the fish? I have never seen the interior workings of your tank.

well eventually the damn thing just swam out. Thank god. Going to put some mesh over the grate so he doesn't swim in back again. thanks for the help.

RE: RSM safety net

Buy a rain gutter piece from Home Depot and cut it out
to fit your cube. They cost only $3 and change.

My scooter blenny fell into my Protein skimmer twice, but luckily I was able to get him both times.
