hey guys i just recently jumped into saltwater after 10 years of freshwater keeping.
i love liverock and have a few pieces in my new 55gallon O'Dell tank w/ 30 gallon wet/dry and fluval 404 canister.
but its damn expensive
ive been doing some research on base rock and one thing that keeps popping up is tufa rock.
there are alot of mixed feeling about using this rock in a marine aquarium.
its cheap, buffers PH, and is easily coraline seeded. id like some more impu before i go and get some

I like all those types of "brackish" rock. I always used a nice mix in my cichlid tanks to add color rainbow, tufa, lava, lace. I have seen people use lace and tufa many times in saltwater aquariums it's nice rock use it.
