u can keep 4 ive seen people with 4 in a tank big as that and clowns live happy together. maybe those people are lucky i dont know

i want 2Snowflake and 2Platinum so bad . im just lost. some ppl say no no. some say if i add them all that the sametime il be ok. some say its 50/50. both fish will run me like $200 ea. really can use some help

Dont feel lost man. Why take the chance? It's very likely not going to work. Best to buy one of each or pick a pair and call it a day. There are tons of nice fish out there.

+1...I started with 2 pairs in my 450g... the biggest female would not leave the other female alone, so I finally removed the smaller...the "menage a trois" has remained together for almost 2 years, without problems, and eggs have been produced.

i actually just went through this trying to pair gold striped maroon clowns in the wild if there are 50 clown fish of the same breed born 1 will be dominante female and the other will be male the other 48 will remaine juvinile if the female should so happen to die then the male becomes female and the next in the chain of comand becomes male and so forth. my high recomendation to you is to not mix the breed in one system unless you have a 500 gallon tank and you have alot of rock work and you introduce them at the same time

i guess i am lucky i have2 pair of clowns and 2 single in my 150 and everybody is chilling an true+false perc and a mocha+b/w occellaris and clarki and gold stripe
