I'd be careful, anything that could fit in it's mouth is fair game, fish or shrimp/crab. I don't remember if you have any shrimp in tank, if not any your fish are good size it might work. If you go with one you will have to select rest of livestock with him in mind. They are def interesting looking fish

I had one for a few years....although it won't bother any corals as mentioned any small fish, shrimp etc.. are on the menu..Also provide a cave or under cliff for it to hang out in..mine didn't like strong water flow or bright lights....it only came out in to the current and lights for feedings.
mine didn't bother any corals except when it perched on them with it fins causing polyps to close up, but no damage....snails and hermits were safe, but shrimp, small fish are on the menu....
They are sometimes tough to get feeding.
I would not take one unless you actually see it eat. Not just tracking food but actually swallowing it.
Lionfish are really cool and the smaller ones are really interesting to watch.
