Two island aqua scape

Hey so I want to change my aqua scape to a two island kinda scape and I was wondering if anyone on here had any pictures so I can get ideas of how how to make it, power head placement etc and I had one big question, might be a stupid one but do you guys rest rock against your glass? Thanks in advance guys.

I keep my rock off the glass - better flow, less algae growth & more swimming room for the fish. I started with the 2 islands but after a while I put more & more rock & corals between the islands and walah - a rock wall. you need good self control to keep the 2 islands.

check out my TOTM thread from two years ago. I'm using a two island scape....it's all filled in now and doesn't look like two seperate islands anymore...
