phosphate removal

what media is best for removing phosphate and why is is best. I have a 210 gal reef tank total water volume is 300 gal. Looking to lower my phosphate I am starting to get low level readings and notice algae growth. I am running a refugium with caulerpa I have a reactor but want to make sure i am using the best media for the job. GFO etc and should i place the media in a nylon sock then into the reactor or no sock.

I use the gfo for bulk reef supply in side a reactor with med flow to give it a gentle tumble , also I use chemi pure elite!!

Weekly water changes, felt socks, and BRS duo reactor running BRS GFO & GAC.

Any GFO is a reactor is best IME
