I am curiouse to see what brand heaters poeple are using? I am looking to get a new one , I cheaped out on 1 from petco aqueon .

i was using eheim jager very good heater but i wanted 200wat and is too big for my sump.just ordered 2 aqueon pro's 200wat for $27.50 each great price i thought and life time guarantee

whatever brand you get make sure its a titanium heater. i personally have had a via aqua titanium heater on my system for 3 years. some people like them some people dont

Just bought the Ehiem cant go wrong with them. The aqueon would go on if I just touched or moved it. Thanks Ken for the help all the time lol .

I would recommend putting all heaters on some sort of controller for added safety.. Even a ranco will do.
I had a heater get stuck on "ON" position while I was at work, and came home to boiled fish!;(
I am currently running Ebo Jagers controlled by RK 2

Just got my rkl going to hook it up as soon as i get some time . Chiller is on too.
