I know in this hobby never really to buy fish from a place like Petland. however would it be ok to buy corals if i dip them after?

cool. yeah the pet land in lower manhattan has corals. not too good but i was just wondering if i saw something good could i get it and dip it.

I agree with all of the above.

As to Petland fish, well that is another matter. If you are ever tempted just remember to QT the fish for 2 months before introducing it to your DT.
