i lost my 125 gallon tank from a leak. i saved the rocks and sand. the rocks r in my 29 gallon with the live stock and algae. also have some in a trash can with a air stone. my sand is not that lucky i just have it in 3 buckets i know the live is dead cuase it smells like eggs, but can i reuse the sand by just CYCLE the tank longer.also is the rock in the bucket with the air stone ok.

In these temps, the rock will need a heater in the bucket to keep the bacteria alive and it really should have a power head preferably over an airstone.
The sand...you will really need to try and rinse the heck out of it. If it continues to smell like rotten eggs, you will need to replace it unfortunately
