Help Pyramid snails

How do you get rid of pyramid snails?

frsh water dip, ir a melanarus wrasse or yellow coris will help eliminate them

I have them at the bottom of the sand bed and can't keep clams alive.. I also have a six line wrasse but I never saw it eating them

have u seen the pyrimid snails or assuming thats why u cant keep clams ?

I saw them and when I keep the clam off the sand it opens all the way

six lines may or may not go after them... usually the latter... if your tank permits I would do something a little larger... melararus, coris and most larger wrasses love snails.

Been there. Wrasses are your only help,, but even that is a futile effort as the snails pretty much only come out at night, while the wrasses hide. Keep removing them by hand at night or siphoning them and if you are persistant enough eventually you MIGHT win the battle.

You may want to take it out and use a toothbrush to clean off the clam.
