Starting my first reef tank, its going to be a 28jbj. Never did corals before but i did purchase a few about 3 days ago and they opened right up. TANK HAS THE LED COVERSION WICH I THINK ARE REALLY BRIGHT COMPARED TO MY DUAL FLOURSCENT ON MY 72 BOW AFRICAN CICHLID TANK. IVE BEEN READING ALOT AND KNOW THAT THERE IS GREAT ADVICE ON THIS FORUM. LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON WHERE I SHOULD GO FROM HERE. I BELIEVE ADVICE FROM ACTUAL PEOPLE IS BETTER THAN WHAT YOULL FIND IN BOOKS.THANKS IN ADVANCE. Here are some pictures all advice welcome.
I also have some hermits, snails, a tomato clown, royal gamma, sandsifting gobY and 3 peppermint shrimp.

i had the same tank as you. please make sure you properly level the tank. i went through 3 jbj nanocubes thinking the tank was leveled. get yourself an aquamaxx hob-1 skimmer. you could go with a tunze 9002, however you won't have the option of running the media basket / mini refugium.

That was the first thing I did and I have an e shops skimmer but the housing cracked so I'm looking to get that replaced. But I am a little worried that the led lighting might be too much for the corals I'm tryin to post pics now but the frags opened up after just a few hours with just the blue lights and when the timer kicked on they didn't close up so I'm hoping that's a good sign
