TDS digital meter reading (ATO storage continer)

I have a ATO system and there is a 5 gallon storage container. I notice the first two days my storage water testing is 0 but 4 days later i tested it again, it showing 440.. This happen ONLY when i connect the tub to the ATO system.. If i leave the water in the storage without using it for weeks it still showing 0.

is that normal ? the storage container water jump from 0 reading to 440 in few days?

what kind of storage container are u using? i would use the 5 gal buckets that holds salt in or anything food grade. other plastics leech chemicals. OR u can use a 10 gal glass tank....thats what im using now

Poland spring jubs are food safe. The tubing of your ATO could be full of some kind of build up. I would replace the tubing, but still find it hard to believe that an outlet of super purified water could produce a 440ppm reading in post-RO water? Maybe salt creep exposure?

Get new tubing...it's so obvious that it's the tubing. You should clean or change tubing every year or so, unless it's very costly.
