Green hairy mushroom .... killing suggestions or control?

I have big green hairy mushrooms that are in a big base rock. Slowly expanding. To prevent that i put Corals around it so they'd sting.

hammers and Duncan and acan can't keep them at bay. The mushroom extends above these lps and prevents light. .... killing lps and caps.

I plan on making flat purple reef epoxy like tortillas and cover them when they shrink at night. Is this ok solution?

How else can i kill them? For i can't remove this base rock.

+2 after you cut it off, cover what doesn't come off with epoxy for a couple of weeks. then pop epoxy off rock, other wise it will grow back.

Btw outing other coral around it is a bad idea too you are stressing them like that it could be disasteris

If i could cut it off means I'd be able to move base rock out of dt.

Which is what i can't do.

What if i smother the outer mushrooms with epoxy tortillas? Lol.... I'll still keep the middle mushrooms since they don't give birth to new small ones that drift away. ... I'll keep them.

In a way frilly ones are better than the other purple blue superman mushrooms.

Once i tried cutting scraping but the cut piece developed into a separate mushroom plUs any piece that drifts away can multiply

Seems simple enough that's why!

Does kalk paste have to be thick like say toothpaste consistency?

I'm assuming u did this after lights came ON for them to oPen their mouths right?

Will try it soon. Even if i kill one mushroom a week or two I'd win.

Yeah, I did it when they were open. The thicker the paste is, the less likely (in my amateur opinion) the kalk will disperse into the water and mess up parameters. I did my mushrooms, xeniae, and palys when they grew too close or over other coral.
