What are you looking to accomplish with rock in a bucket?
Sand should be rinsed thoroughly, ro water best, to a oid particles and sediment getting in tank when adding sand. Also helps with cloudy sandstorm effect. I would go crazy with bucket and heaters and stuff. I wouldnt buy live sand either. Save the cash for something else. Whatever sand you buy will b live soon enough
