Hello all,

I have a aquaeuro USA 34 gallon tank. This tank has 2 return's, both on the left side of the tank. I've been running (what came with the tank) 2 maxijet 1200's. One for each return. Additionally I'm running a pump for my p04 reactor and a pump for my skimmer.

I want to replace the all the pumps with one stronger pump. Would a mag 7 be too strong to run as both returns, skimmer and p04 reactor?

Definitely eheim 1260 over the mag7. But that may be too much for your set up.

are you going to manifold (split the plumbing) to reactors and such?

I had the 1260 on a 50 Gallon set up with a 1" drain line and I had to dial down the pump so that it doesn't over flow. I had about 5-6 feet of head too.

Yes, I intend on creating a manifold to the reactor and skimmer.

Wow, does the pump come with a dial down setting? I was going to (try) to create a ball valve to each out to prevent flooding.

I just don't want to buy a pump only to restrict it.
