Help picking a skimmer

I am in the market for a skimmer and I will most likely be ordering the Reef Octopus NWB110. It will be running on a 60gal cube with about a 30gal sump. The tank will be sps dominant if that helps any. I have a 20''x8.5'' skimmer section in my sump.

Before I purchase it, is there any other skimmers that I should be considering?

Trying to keep it around $200 but under $300. If I have to I'll pay what I have to, so I don't have to upgrade in the long run

I recommend that you get the Esshopps Economy Cone S200.

It is very well designed and comes with a very well known pump.

I have had 6 skimmers in a little over 2 years. I have had 2 in sump skimmers running at the same time and even had a hang on for a 3rd skimmer for a while, I keep lots of fish and was experimenting in regards to sps corals not surviving.

The esshopps does not overflow once fine tuned, not mine, food does not throw it off either. The design is very effective, out of all it cleans out the most.

Esshopps S200 and you will be very happy.

I have no complaints about my swc160 on my 55 gallon. Pulls thick dark dry skimmate. Works well for me.

I ran a skimz sk181 on my 60 cube. This is the most consistent skimmer that I ever ran.
