Plumbing Return Pump Question

I'm trying to plumb a Eheim 1262 inside the sump and I was going to use hard PVC coming out of the outtake using Christie's Red Hot Blue Glue but is this stuff safe to use under the water or will it leach anything?

The alternative is to is use hose barbs and tubing for the parts that will be in the water.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Just get a 1" threaded to slip adapter, then you're set for PVC. I only use the normal purple or clear primer and clear cement for all of my plumbing.

Jimmy, Thanks I have one of those on the outtake side of the pump. I'm just trying to figure out of the glue is safe to use under the water?? Will it leach anything?

Nope no leaching. It's perfectly fine.
