New(ish) nano tank

Hello all!

I have a 12 square rimless (7.5 gal), and i also have a 30 setup that has been running for 3 months. If i use sand, LR, and water form my 30, is it the cycle going to take the same amount of time as if I didn't use water from my 30, or should I buy more water? (I buy it from petco)

If u worried about beneficial bacteria from what i understand most lives on live rock not so much in the water itself. Dont know if that helps u

No, Like is it fish ready/safe?

That is what i meant. That bacteria is what u need to have fish. Its what turns ammonia to nitrite to nitrate.

Im no expert but i think u might hve a small cycle ( maybe a week ) then u be ready for fish in no time. But TEST water to be SAFE.
