Tank leveling?

Have and old house and I am upgrading to a 75 gallon reef ready deep blue tank and stand from a red sea max 130d the floors are not level I have about a 3/8-1/2 difference on one side where i want the tank to go can someone recommend the best way I should level the stand? I know I can use wood shims but it looks ugly when you look at it. The display tank will be in my living room I don't want to see that ugly gap under the stand any recommendations?

I used the composite shims from hd
Are you looking for a quick fix, that's gotta be the most simple way. Curious what other option that are floating around

my floor is off by 1/4" front to back. i put a piece of 1/4x2" oak in front you can't even notice it. hd has it.
