Copepods and Amphipods in a FO tank?

I'm planning on creating a refugium with Miracle Mud in a FO tank. I am not planning on having any mandarins. Is there any benefit to having Copepods and Amphipods in my FO tank?

All grazing fish will eat them , flame angel tangs foxface stuff like that , plus they are part if the breakdown process

But if I put them into the refugium to start, I guess it's safe to say some will wander out into the water flow and make it into the main talk?

Put half in the refugium and half in the tank. They also serve more of a purpose then a food source.
