hanna alk checker ?

I just bought a hanna alk checker and the instructions say to use the plastic tip on the syringe. Do you put that on before or after you draw the 1 ml reagent? i am asking because i have a large difference from my salifert kit.

You can use it or not. But either way you draw to the 1ml mark on the syringe. I wouldn't fill and then use the tip..

Use tip fill all the way then push down to 1ml mark ignore air from tip.
