Skimmer problem

Hey all,
Just need some advice. Have a bubble magus 3.5 nac cone skimmer. Its been going for about a week started to produce skimmate now its not producing anything. I was told the break in period can be up to 2 weeks. the skimmer sits in about 8 inches of water. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or how to adjust it?

whats your load? you could just not have anything left for it to skim

clink51 is right. it might not be the skimmers problem. depends on your bioload, your skimmer might not have any organic to pull out. try tuning it to get wet skim instead of dry

Its wet skim right now but not much.. I have a decent amount of fish and feed them once everyday should be pulling out something... Im actually getting tired of trying to mess with this thing to find the right setting and etc..
