Can anyone answer a simple question ?
Can I cut an opening on the side of my store bought stand to get to my sump if I ever have to replace it ? It's a 180 gallon tank and store bought stand

you'll have to see how the tank was build. If you have supports, in the forms of 2x4, 4x4 etc, then yes you can cut out anything you want. if there are no supports avoid cutting anything as that will reduce the integrity of the support and the chances of it crumbling increase 10 fold
