Hey guys i just added a lionfish to my 180g tank just wanted to know how can i tell if hes hunty or not? i did feed him live goldfish and today. I just don't want him eating any of my fish. Help pleasee

Maybe if you stop feeding goldfish they won't think of fish as a food source. Did you try feeding frozen? How large is the fish? What kind of lion? My fish come out of hiding and pace around the tank when they are hungry.

They can be a pain to feed.

I've always heard that Goldfish are NOT a recommended food for lionfish... they have a bone that the lion can not pass, and it will cause them problems.
If your fish will fit in the lions mouth, he will probably eat them.

The gold fish bones are not the problem, lionfish eat fish for a living. The problem is gold fish lack nutrients to support lionfish bright coloration and such. Gold fish carry disease as well.
