My 2 false percs were living happily together in their host hammer coral. In the past week or so, they seemed to have moved out of the hammer and only occasionally go back to it during the day. The larger of the 2 has started nipping at the smaller one and I'm a bit worried that (s)he's going to do some damage.

Any thoughts on why this would be happening? Is there anything I can do, or should I let them work it out themselves. Should I get the little guy flowers to bring to the bigger one to try to smooth things over or file for divorce?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My 2 start nipping at eachother when they are gonna lay some eggs. If you go to rareclownfish.com I am sure they will be able to help you out more. The site admin there is also a member here, Clownfishking is his name.

Like Jim said, they're just figuring out who's the boss. Once the dominant one puts the other one in his place, they'll go back to the hammer.

if you watch, he'll kinda turn up is belly when he's submitting to her. Kinda like 'here's my soft spots if you're gonna kill me'

She should get darker and larger soon.
