Anyone here have any experience with south sea base rock by CaribSea? I have used live rock before but its a lot cheaper for my new tank if I were to go with dry rock such as south sea base rock or life rock by caribsea. I've been reading that people who use dry rock such as base rock to start tanks end up having issues in the future? Can anyone share their opinions, Thanks!

Started my mixed reef with marco rocks over 2 years ago and just started my 125 fowlr with marco rocks a little over a month ago.
No issues at all..just takes a while to loose that white rock coloring and look more like something that youd find underwater.
