I know I know know question is stupid. But I have one about a skimmer. I recently got an AquaC Remora for my 20 gallon. I am cycling a 75 gallon so I figured I would put it on there for the "break in period" and just let the bubbles go into the cyclying tank instead of the 20g. Well its been a couple weeks and it was not making any bubbles so I stuck it on the 20 gallon and out came the bubbles! :? WTF I say. When they say break in period does it mean the the skimmer has to be broke in to a SPECIFIC tank or does it mean break in, in general. Thanks in advance and sorry for so much reading.

It really depends on how you are cycling the tank. If you don't have alot of waste coming from the tank there are no proteins for it to remove. As far as breaking it in, it really just needs to get a little dirty for it to work to it's potential.

YUP.

I have been running my AquaC Remora for about 2-3months now, and every now and then if and when I have to turn it off, (for water change or whatever) and then I plug it back in, I get those little micro-bizubbles for like an hour or so. I even get them now once in a while. No big deal, they will go away!
