Accurate test kits & PH meters.

For veteran reefkeepers: which test kits are the most accurate? (PH, KH,CA,etc.) Also important is easy to read. The colors on the PH scale are often hard to distinguish between. I have used tetra and Red Sea for PH.
Also- any ideas on or experience with PH meters (Milwaukee, Amer. Marine, or any others)? Thank you so much.

For test kits I like Salifert. For a pH meter, I use this handheld unit (it's a combination temp & pH meter).

How often do you need to take pH value? If you do that rountinely, and feel that it is important parameter to check, then get a decent pH meter. Most hobby pH meter is not very good, but for most purpose, it is doing its job well consider the price. I suggest PinPoint, Milwaukee and others that you mentioned. Just compare the specs with each other, and take account into the price, and decide your choice.

I have a pH meter, but after a few weeks into the hobby, I only use it a few time in a year...
