too much oxygen

is it possible to have too much oxygen in the water as i have a turboflotor 1000 on my 30 gallon tank this might be a bit of overkill but got it for £50 off a friend but it continuously pumps small air bubbles back into the tank i have tried altering the flow taps both closing them off and opening them. i read somewhere that over saturation can cause a condition similar to the bends.

basically i am looking for confirmation of this as i had two percs die recently with no apparent cause.

I doubt very much that is something you need to be concern about. The percs probably die due to some other issue.

Im sure they make some kind of accessory you can buy and install to stop the the return bubbles. Look for some kind of bubble box or bubble trap or bubble reducer......
