I have a 54 gallon tank with about 55 lbs of rocks layed out the way I like. I had 2 damsels in there and added a clown fish and a Pink Pseudochromus recently from the LFS (Sunday). (http://www.aquaticretail.com/product_in ... 52784eaca5)
The link above gives a description on the fish. A few of days after the addition of the fish I got a cleaner shrimp for the tank (Wednesday). It found its hiding place and stayed there for a couple of days but one day (Friday) after coming home from work I found him torn in half in the middle of the rockscape. The pseudochromus was swimming around it and not letting any of the other 3 fish into the rocks. I took the shrimp back to the lfs so they can see that it wasnt just shedding and did infact get killed. The guy said that he was probably in the process of shedding when the pink fish got him. The pink fish also chases the other 3 out of the rock scape. I remember the damsels used to move in and out through there all the time, now if they try to go inside the pink fish chases them out. I know this causes stress on the other fish. I would like to take the fish out asap. What is the best way of doing this? Is this the best way of going about doing this?
Thanks,
