Hi.
I noticed that I have thousands if not millions very very tiny white worms running around in my tank on the glass. See Below.
I magnified this photo.

See in the background, on my tank's wall you can see many white dots. These are the worms which you can see in foreground magnified.

What are they? I am beginning to worry!
Please let me know. THX!

Great picture! You've got pods! What kind of pods, I haven't got the foggiest, but these are good guys. Plankton that can be eaten by fish, corals, filter feeders (well, they may be a bit big for filter feeders...). And they eat the diatom and algae films on your glass. (Well, they won't put much of a dent into your film, but every bit helps...)

Sign of healthy ecosystem.

Thanks, I was just wondering that same thing myself. This weekend I had an outbreak of them and thousands were produced. I now have NO algae in my tank. SWEEEEEET!!!

Pods. Good Thing. Try sneaking up on your tank with a red-filtered flashlight a couple hours after lights out. You'll be amazed at the life running around your tank. Don't get freaked out by the large bristleworms. They're good guys, too. :D

I also have hundreds of tiny white tadpole like things moving around on the glass are these pod's too. If so do they eat the rusty colored algea on the live rock?
