i have a question to pose...
whenever i attempt to fed my corals, of whom i feed with a turkey baster, my gosh darned damsel stals the food from the coral. he is so brazen that he rams the baster in an attempt to be fed. believe me, he gets fed plenty before the corals get theirs. he will even snag the food out of the mouths of the corals as they are swallowing it.
what do i do to stop him from doing this? ive tried to distact him by putting some food on the other side of the rocks, but he is back a few seconds later.
i have attached a pic of him trying to score some food. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It is easy to solve.

1, put a small coral in a clear plastic container with lid.
2, put food and feed the coral as usual
3, when that S*B get into the container to take his "fair share," close the lid and bring it out of the tank.
4, replace the coral to the tank.
5, get $1 from LFS for the S*B for future livestock purchase.

Problem solved.

From my experience, pretty much both fish and inverts will steal from corals. I always see my shrimps searching the corals in my tank after a feeding. Fortunately most corals don't need direct feeding often. For those that do like sun corals, I saw a neat trick where some guy cut a 2L bottle in half (or maybe 1/4), placed the top halve over his sun coral and squirted food in. The thieves couldn't get to the coral. He could keep the food swirling by just squirting water into the feeding hat.
