Are peppermint shrimp supposed to keep their clutch of eggs on their body until hatching?
As soon as lights went out tonight my pep shrimp dropped her eggs on a section of rock. Both of the parents are hanging around nearby, but I had never heard of this.
First time I heard of this.... most shrimp/crab keep the egg on their belly until hatching, other just drop it on the sand, but there are exceptions like everything on life, I guess. For pmt shrimp, however, I believe the egg hatch on the belly... :?
