How about the AquaC Remora Pro with the Mag-3 upgrade? That's what I've got on a 120 tank, and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for your input, but i'm looking for a skimmer to use in or out of my sump.

I have done a bit of research lately looking for a hang on, and in the process, read up on 'in sump' varieties, and Aqua C seems like a good choice for price/efficiency.

I personally have a Reef Devil III and it worked superbly. I would plan on getting a skimmate resivoir for the high powered ones. They are not that bad pricewise, and it makes life easier. Just hold your nose when you open the container. ETSS makes good stuff, or at least they did when I bought mine a few years back.

EuroReef are also good. I haven't looked at them lately tho.

Did you look at Aqua-C and Euroreef? Both excellent brands. The ones you posted I don't have much experience with, sorry.

The Euro-Reefs are very set-n-forget. They have lower cost models now that are made with extruded acrylic (ES models) too...

There's some real nice Beckett-type skimmers that would work inside/outside your sump too (MyReef, Precision Marine, Aerofoamer, etc.)...

The Turboflotor is also an excellent skimmer. The multi version can also be HOT. It was trick to get set up properly but has run hassle free for years, with the occasional cleaning. Because it runs so well, I'm not familiar with the other skimmers.
