Hi all! I've been waiting to have a good question for my first post, but this lame one will have to suffice...
I'm trying to find a way to silence my overflow (gurgling, "sucking", etc.)
I've looked at the site for the Durso standpipes, but his don't seem like they're geared toward being used in hang-on overflows -- can they be? If not, has anyone found a good solution? My LFS gave me the idea of using a bioball in the top of the existing standpipe, which kinda works, but doesn't get rid of the gurgling noise.
One more idea: If I could get the water level just about 1/2" above the standpipe, it would be entirely silent -- any good way to add backpressure in a reliable manner (I don't want to have my overflow overflow
