Can anyone recommend a place to go (preferably online) that have a wide selection of plastic bins that could be used as a sump for a 75G tank? LSP recommended 30"L X 16"W X 16"T. What do you think?

I heard the Rubbermaid recommendation. This is a possibility, but I'm thinking of looking for something without rounded corners, just a square bin or box, in order to make it easier to build baffles or compartments into the bin.

The guy at the LPS said to check out US Plastics. There may be some good stuff there. But I'm looking for other choices.

Finally, is anyone familiar with building or gluing 'tracks' into these plastic containers to slide the baffles in and out of? Anyone know where to obtain somehing like that?

Thanks you again

I am not sure about the US but in Puerto Rico, Home Depot sells many different water resivoirs. Here we use them for water storage in case of a hurricane and water supplies not functioning. I saw many that were perfect and under a hundred dollars for something quite large. Back in my home country of Canada, hence the user name, I aslo saw the same rectangular water resi's at Hydroponic supply stores. However, there they were fairly pricey.

On second thought, I would use a 20gal tall aquarium. Cheap and easy.It is not as much as the 33 you are looking for but I have seen smaller sumps on bigger tanks. If you want the capacity, it would be possible to drill to 20gals and join them with some bulk heads. You could buy a 33gal but where I am from it costs way more than 2 20's
