Live rock hitchickes

I've had my 10 gal set up for 1 month now. 12 lbs. live carribean and figi rock, 2 damsels, 1 condy, 1 bristle starfish, 5 snails, and a peppermint shrimp. My newest addition of live rock has an abundance of what looks like baby shrimp and a blue something living in it. Should I be worried about these hitchhickers?

The baby shrimp are "pods". Not to be worried about. The "blue thing" will need more description or a pic.

I'd love to give you more info, but he's hiding.
He's pale blue, sort of flat, hides in a small deep hole. The tip of him was the size of a pen, maybe.

I would not even hazard a guess. My advice would be to keep an eye on it.

Other than mantis shrimp and aiptasia polyps, most hitchikers are benign or beneficial. Without knowing anything, I would hazard a guess that it is probably nothing to worry about...

Speaking of aiptasia, I have two growing nicely in my tank. My pepermint shrimp (which I bought two days ago) has yet to touch them. Any suggestions?

Can you tell if the blue thing is a fish, crusacean, echinoderm or maybe even a gastropod?

My peppermint shrimp took about 2 weeks to rid my tanks of the 4 or 5 aptasia I had. I didn't have any fish at the time so I wasn't feeding at all. First they will look small and a little withered, then in a day or so are gone.
