Are these really bad lights?

cant see anything wrong with them from the picture. dont know how good the ballast is though

Bad in what way? Will the ballast burn out quickly or just not run effectively?

Agreed. If the ballasts are actually what they're claiming - Advance M57s - then there should be no issues there. This is the same type of equipment companies like PFO use. As for the lamps and the rest of the equipment, I have no idea...

The reflector looks a bit short... but most of the stuff are pretty much standard that it can't go wrong, except for the lamp. Just make sure they are UL-listed or something... Do they tell you what brand are the lamps?

Yeah, the reflectors DO look small...

Thanks for all the feedback! I was going to put them in a reflective hood that I already have. It seems like it's a pretty good I just wanted everyone's opinions.
