folks,

doing some research on the fish i'd eventually like to have in my tank... so many factors to consider. 8O

my tank is a 90g reef, 36x24x24, 30g sump. here's my current wish list in order of most-wanted:

True percula clownfish – 2
Fridmani Pseudochromis -- 1
Blue Reef Chromis – 4
Red Head Goby – 1
Red Velvet Wrasse - 1

anything totally wacky there? i'm going to go for full 360 swimming with lots of caves to maximize swim space. if the above is a reasonable list, which would you add first? last?

i'm not planning to add any fish for another coupla months -- my tank just finished cycling so i'm in the planning stage. but i like to have a plan to work from. :)

thanks!

Mucho de bien.
I see nothing wacky at all (very good choice), you could even get a yellow or other tang in there. Good Luck.

Nothing wacky at all. :)
I would add the Amphiprion perculas first
I would add the Paragobion echinocephalus ( Goby ) second.
I would add the Cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis ( Wrasse ) third.
I would add the Chromis cyaneus ( Chromis ) fourth.
The last would be the Pseudochromis fridmani as this will be the most aggressive fish in your tank. These little guys may be small but can be small terrors though with a 90gl tank I don't forsee any problems.
Beware though, the Wrasse and Pseudochromis are notorious jumpers so a full cover would be needed on your tank.

Regards,
David Mohr

good idea david. I agree with that order of introduction OR simultaneous introduction would be prefered. That isnt too large a bioload that it would overload a 90gal if all were introduced at once.

David's suggestion of a specific order of introduction was made for a good reason. Why would you think simultaneous introduction is acceptable?

What a nice stocking list! I love Pseudochromis fridmani very much, I have heard that the tank raised ones are much more peaceful than wild caught. Mine was tank raised and he was very very docile, he peacefully coexisted with a blue assessor in a 155, along with other smallish fish one would expect a pseudo to quarrel with.

I had a tank raised friedmani in a 65, very peaceful and beautiful. Not aggressive at all.
