Quick question- How many gph's will I get with a 1/2 inch bulkhead?

Can you provide a little more information? Are you using this as a drain? How will it be plumbed?

Used as a drain to sump, its a 1/2 inch bulkhead. Using a sedra 3500 as the return pump back to main tank through a 1/2 inch return. It will be flexible plumbing. I did a little bit of home calculating, if a 1.5 inch bulkhead is 1000 gph, a 1/2 inch is about 300-350. The guy at the lfs where i get most of my items at picked out both bulkheads. :?

How did you do it :?

as a rule of thumb, 1/2->3/4 will double the flow
3/4->1 double again.
1->1.5 is about triple. so 1.5-> 1/2 is about ten-fold...
