Lighting Question

I'm setting up a 120 gal tank (48"x24"x24") for mixed reef tank SPS, Clams, and soft corals. This is what I'm looking at for lighting, but don't know if I should get retro fit kit for my canopy or seperate parts and mount them myself?

2 MH 250W - 10K Ushio or 10K Blue Line bulbs (Ballasts??)
2 48" VHO URI Actinic 03 W/Ice 430 Electric VHO Ballast
2 Moon Lights
1 Ice Cap 4" Cooling Fan

Any recommendations or input on the above would be appreciated. Also LFS advised to put a lens cover between lights and water. Is this needed/recommended?

The lamp shield will be useful when it comes to cleaning the salt off the glass. It is easier to deal with than rusted/corroded metal part in the hood.

you setup looks fine. But I will get just one moon light instead of two if you are using one of those bright LEDs.

I have a 100 gallon that I want to upgrade. I plan to use two 250 watt pendants. This will make maintenance much easier.
