I have zero DIY and MH experience. Just thought I would get that out of the way first.
The question is, if I was ever to get a metal halide system for my 20g (someone suggested a 250w set-up at one point), what would I need? Retailers seem to sell only parts and I don't know which parts I need and what they cost and how to put it together- is there anyone who sells something that I could just plug in and flick it on? :roll: A while back someone offered me a pendant set-up for about $300 but I'm not sure that's what my parents would want (the tank is in our dining room). Is there anything like a 250w MH light canopy I can buy somewhere?
