Greetings and salutations! Justa quick qusetion about those combo MH/PC lights. Does anyone have any feedback on good, affordable lights from a decent business? Any feedback would be most welcome!!!! I'm freaking out over the $$$!!! Thanks, M
I would piece it on DIY from parts or retrofits to save money. Both Marine Depot and Hellolights are great for this type of stuff. What you need is a PC retrofit and actinic tubes (honestly, they're all pretty well made), a magnetic ballast of proper wattage for the MH, a mogul socket (with mounting bracket), MH bulb, and preferably a nice reflector for the halides. This will be the cheapest method.
