I'm nearing the end of my cycle. It's a 37 gal. tank w/ LR (34 soon to be 40 lbs.) and a DSB. I have a 3 yr. old son. Any suggestions for livestock. Activity and bright colors are important but since I'm a "newbie" I imagine they should be hardy. Thanks for your input.

There are several species of clownfish, wrasses, gobies, basslets etc. that would be good for your setup.

My suggestion is to pick up a copy of Scott Michael's guide to marine fishes - third one down on this list. In it, you can see a good pic of the fish in question and get a quick summary of basic information including feeding requirements, behavior, recommended tank size, etc.

I love that book. Reputable LFS will be willing to have you pick out fish in the book and cross reference it with what they can order as well. It allows you to pick out exactly what you want from the beginning. The only part of the book I think is odd is that most of the feeding recommendations are almost impossible for most of us to accomplish. I mean come on feed 3-4 times a day :?
