mornin just a couple questions. i have a 65 gal tank for 1 yr now still need some advice though regarding skilter 400 when i change cartridge can i sterilize old filter pad and re-use or will that not work also i have carbon filter pads can they be re-used ? i only use carbon 1 a week for 1 day.

one other question just curious if anyone knows how big coral beauties get

You can probably get a few uses out of the carbon cartridges, and IMO you don't have to sterilize anything - just rinse it out good.

As for the Coral Beauty, they're in the genus Centropyge (aka "dwarf" or "pygmy" angels) and they don't excede about 4" in length.

If you're only using them for a day, I imagine you could go a long time out of a single pad. Certainly two months should be no problem at all (that's only 9 or so days of use) just make sure they dry out well so you don't end up growing stuff on them before putting htem back in the filter. You could probably get a lot more time that that out of them, but I'm not sure how much they're going to pick up from the air while being stored, and one every two months shouldn't exactly break the bank. If you smoke that may (I don't know) hurt their storage life a fair amount once they're not sealed and such.
