Chemi-Pure ?

Is anyone running Chemi-Pure in a Magnum 350, if so are you just placing the bag in the carbon container.?

I doubt anyone is running Chemi-pure in YOUR magnum, but I sure plenty of people run it in their own. I run it through a in-line cylinder myself. You really just need to make sure that it doesn't get so clogged up that it prevents good flow through.

I like Chemi-pure. I think it is a good product.

Gosh darn it, you beat me to the punch ; however, I second what Louey says.

I've used Chemi-Pure and liked it. But Purigen made by SeaChem is much better IMO. I've been using it "fluidized" for maybe 6 months or so, and my water quality has really improved in this tank.

Its a tight fit but you can run chemi pure in the carbon container of a magnum. Chemi pure recommends that you leave their product in their mesh which makes it a little difficult. I place a small layer of floss below and above the chemi-pure bag.

What is the floss used for.? If I need it what should I look for at my LFS
