I have a yellow tang and a blue hippo tang, and I want to make sure they are healthy and well fed. For the rest of my fish I've just been feeding formula one, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp. What "should" i be feeding?

greens, they're definately herbivores. Go to a supermarket in your area and look around the soy sauce section for something called 'Nori'. It's dried seaweed meant for wrapping sushi, but it's one of the healthiest prepared foods that can be offered to tangs. Then buy a cheap food clip for your aquarium and put in about a 2" x 3" square for it to graze on... possibly larger since you have both. If you don't find Nori on your first try, dont be discouraged, I found it on my third stop... not as high in demand as milk and bread

Use the 'search' function & look for posts by Minh Nguyen. He's got a great picture showing how to fold up Nori to feed a tang.

I've got a thread that got moved to to DIY showing a picture of a feeding clip in the tank with Nori and a tang chowing down on it. Taikonaut posted a great photo of a DIY seaweed feeder.

Your tangs will also eat the frozen mysis, brine, F1, etc., but they love to browse all day on seaweed--and they have no table manners at all.
