Would the protein waste in the skimmer be a good food source for my brine shrimp to eat ? I currently feed them liquid plankton ( Kent Phytoplex) Thanks for any help.

Nope, it's not a good idea. While skimmate is rich in phytoplankton, it's rich in feces and other waste (in decomposition state); the nutrient levels will kill brine shrimp. Even if they live, I wouldn't want brine soaked in skimmate fed back into my tank :P

Thanks, I just thought by taking the nutrients in 300+ gallons of water and condensing it down to a 1 cup full had to be good for something to eat. Maybe it is a cure for cancer or something. We'll never know.

A few drug companies already have teams of lawyer working on how to get you for stealing their intellectual property. Run! ;)
