my ph went to high then a freind told me to do a big water change.but it made it go to low and killed most of my corals and one fish so far what should I do
It's very important to match temperature, specific gravity and pH levels when doing a water change. Most reef critters don't do well with drastic changes in those basic parameters.
At this point your best bet is to keep a close eye on things as there is likely going to be some die-off. Run carbon, make sure your skimmer is working well (assuming you have one) and get another water change ready (this time matching critical parameters to the system water).
Things will settle back down and recover in time, just be patient and learn from the mistake.
